Here we are. We’ve reached the final installment in this series of Emily and Melissa drinking beer. Along with Danny, they’ve had barley wine, mead, gueuze, and kriek. Off camera there has also been excessive wine drinking, and some shots of tequila; which leads us to where we are today. The beer is Sierra Nevada and Russian River’s collaboration; BRUX. Next time you see Danny, be sure to give him a hi-five for putting up with Emily and Melissa, and managing not to physically attack either one…
Today, Emily and Melissa drink some kriek with Danny. Also, Emily and Melissa have a “moment.” There is only one more video after this one, and it can only go downhill from here.
To learn more about kriek, and more specifically, Transatlantique Kriek, read below.

If you only watch one of the Emily and Melissa Drink Beer videos, make it this one. Gueuze is probably one of the most unique beers there is. I’ve given gueuze to friends who like sour beers, thinking that they’d enjoy gueuze, but they had reactions very similar to this. Read more about gueuze below.

When we last saw our heroes, Emily, Melissa, and Danny were drinking Full Sail Old Boardhead Barleywine Ale, which they eloquently described by stating that it “looks like a sunset,” “it tastes like brown,” and something about a Disneyland ride.
We now join in on their embarkment into mead territory, with a metheglin from Redstone Meadery. Want to learn more about meads? Continue reading below for more details.

A month ago, Emily, Melissa, and Danny sat down to drink a few beers and share their thoughts. What was meant to have been a single, short, video, has turned into a series of 5 videos. Today, we share the final video, featuring Twisted Pine Billy’s Chilies.
Will there be more of these videos in the future? Maybe. Let us know if you enjoyed watching these, and maybe you’ll see a few more in the future!
Emily and Melissa drink Bear Republic Racer X. So, by this point in the recording, things start getting a bit belligerent.
There is only one more video left after this one. As always if you’ve missed the previous videos, they can be found here.
Episode 3: Melted Satan Heart:
After enduring the mouth puckering madness of La Folie, and the intensiveness of 120 Minute IPA, Danny, Melissa, and Emily move onto the epic that is Stone 12.12.12.
In episode 2, we find Danny, Melissa, and Emily consuming Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA. Another one of my personal favorite beers.
In case you missed episode 1: Danny is a Ninja, featuring New Belgium La Folie, you can find it here.
We’ve toyed with the idea of making some sort of video series for the site, but could never come up with the right way to go about it that involves our love of craft beer, with our sense of humor. That was until Melissa Marth, of The Big Friendly Corporation, and Emily Miller agreed to get involved as well. They don’t have nearly the obsession for craft beer that we have, so we though it would be interesting to have them taste a few of our favorite beers, and get their reactions. It also helps that they are two of the funniest people I know.
So Danny sat down with them for what was supposed to be a quick 5 minute video of them tasting 5 different beers. However, they showed up after a couple bottles of wine, and we instead got 40 minutes of drunken ramblings. So, this will be broken up into 5 different videos, one for each beer, and each one progressively becoming slightly more belligerent.
So, without further ado, here is the first of the videos, my favorite sour beer, New Belgium La Folie.
